Final Trailer and Poster For Creed III Teases Unfinished Business

Creed III - 2023

For the third film in the Creed story, keeping pace is a major challenge, and that goal is achieved. This is the first film in the series that does not feature Sylvester Stallone as Rocky on screen and the script needed major adaptations to maintain a good story and the legacy of the struggle stories. In this script, the story begins with Creed's recent retirement from the rings and the arrival of an old childhood friend who spent nearly twenty years in prison. However, this friend has many issues from the past to be resolved and thus begins the main conflict of the plot.

The story unfolds through the gyms of Los Angeles and features a completely exciting performance by Michel B. Jodan in the lead role, Adonis Creed, as well as directing the film. The film's antagonist, played by Jonathan Majors, as the former prisoner Dame, manages to absorb and show all the frustration for someone who spent almost twenty years in prison. Secondary characters such as Bianca, Creed's wife, played by Tessa Thompson and Felix (José Benavidez Jr.), play an important role in parallel conflicts in relation to the main story.

As in most boxing movies, the entire conflict is resolved in a great fight scene, with great twists, in which it is possible to see a great performance from both fighters, as well as a great physical performance. A part that could be better explored in the film is the situation of Adonis Creed's daughter. She’s deaf e has a condition that does not listen and does not speak and uses sign language to communicate, but does not have a great prominence during the story.

In summary the film has a good script and good performances by the cast, maintaining the model of the original story with great success.
