Silo | AppleTV+

Apple+ has done it again! The latest series to their streaming service, "Silo", starring Rebecca Ferguson, is a masterpiece. The show's story, stunning visuals, and fabulous acting captivate you from the first episode, making it impossible not to binge-watch.

"Silo" is based on the novel "Wool" written by Hugh Howey, a series of books that started as an independent project without a publisher. The series is set in a post-apocalyptic world, where the last survivors of humanity are living in a giant underground silo. The story follows an engineer named Juliette (Rebecca), who is involved with a string of mysterious deaths that has occurred within the silo.

The show is exceptionally well-written and keeps you intrigued from the first episode to the end. The story is full of plot-twists, making it virtually impossible to predict what happens next. The show's creators have done an excellent job of mixing science-fiction, thriller and drama.

At the beginning of the first episode, we follow one of the main characters asking to leave the Silo, according to the Silo's law, if a person formally requests to leave, they have to provide an adequate outfit and the person is released, and it is all broadcast. The character's emotions and struggles as she prepares and tries to brief on Earth for the first time is followed by all the Silo's inhabitants, like a reality show. You can feel her husband pain and desperation when she leaves, especially because he is the actual Silo's sheriff.

The supporting cast is just as fantastic, with each actor fully embodying their respective characters. A special mention must go to Tim Robbins, away from projects for quite a long time, he is superb as the Tech director that keeps everything working and monitored. After the outstanding reviews, Apple has renewed the show for a second season.

In conclusion, "Silo" is a must-watch for anyone looking for an excellent TV series with a thought-provoking storyline. The show's creators have skillfully blended science-fiction and drama to create a entertaining show. This is definitely a series that you do not want to miss.
